hip mobility 101: The shin box

Today we’re going over the beginner shin box. This is an exercise that helps to improve the rotational capacity of the hip joint.
 
When we explore and improve the amount of space in the hip joint, we are better able to move and function doing things we enjoy (e.g., running, exercising, etc.)
 
Follow along with the video and try to spend at least two minutes focusing on feeling a deep stretching sensation for both the front hip (external rotation) and the back hip (internal rotation). Once you’ve done two minutes on both hips, flip your knees and do the other side.
